Van Der Klei
Lawyerr & Mediation
Person-and familyright
My name is Judith van der Klei and I studied Dutch law at the University of Leiden. I have been working in the legal profession with great passion since 2003. First for many years in our capital Amsterdam and since 2013 in the beautiful municipality of Bloemendaal.

In addition to being a lawyer, I am also an MFN mediator with personal and family law accreditation. I am also a teacher at the School for Mediation in Driebergen, where I provide the legal days for the training to become an MFN family mediator.

In recent years I have mainly specialized in personal and family law and have followed many training courses for this purpose.

When finding a solution, I not only look at the business side, but also at the interpersonal relationships.

Family law is evolving and subject to change. Because I deal with the legal consequences of entering into and terminating relationships between cohabitants, married couples and registered partners on a daily basis, I realize how important a careful arrangement of the relevant subjects is. The financial and emotional interests weigh heavily, as do the interests of the children.
In daily life I am also the mother of three children, which means I can put myself in situations well and therefore recognize many pitfalls. In addition to legal advice, I also think it is important that clients feel heard. As a committed expert, I will commit myself to this as much as possible.

The Faculty of Law of the University of Leiden is highly regarded internationally and is among the best in Europe. The faculty offers a wide range of courses and specializations, including public law, criminal law and notarial law. In addition, a great deal of scientific research is carried out in various areas of law.
